November 30 – Continue flight to Australia and cross the International Date Line.

pacific3December 1 – Sydney, Australia – Arrive in Australia!  Upon arrival in Sydney you will be transferred to your hotel to rest and relax.  The remainder of the day is yours to explore and take it easy. Overnight in Sydney.

December 2 Sydney, Australia – First came the Aborigines, then 759 British convicts, followed by a wave of military settlers known as the Rum Corps. The result: Sydney’s bold, egalitarian charm. History, opera, opals and koalas are all here.  Head over to the Sydney Opera House or the famous Sydney Taronga Zoo. Today an optional excursion will show you the highlights of Sydney followed by a drop off at your cruise ship – the Celebrity Solstice. (Cruise Meals)

December 3 – Enjoy a relaxing day at sea. (Cruise Meals)

December 4 – Enjoy a relaxing day at sea. (Cruise Meals)

December 5 Scenic Cruising Day – Grab your camera for a scenic cruising day through Milford Sound, New Zealand, Doubtful Sound, and Dusky Sound.  As your cruise ship navigates these  fjords you will find them comparable in majestic beauty as anywhere in the world.  The numberless waterfalls will take your breath away!  (Cruise Meals)

December 6 – Dunedin, New Zealand –  Dunedin’s Scottish heritage is everywhere, evident in its statue of poet Robert Burns, in the work of its kilt makers and whisky distilleries and in its ornate Victorian train station. Aye, there’s even a castle that emphasizes the kinship. (Cruise Meals)

December 7 Christchurch, New Zealand – Transfer to Christchurch, New Zealand to sightsee. Are you in England or New Zealand? It’s hard to tell in this city crowned by a neo-Gothic stone cathedral and set along the grassy banks of the Avon River. Nearby: the fertile Canterbury Plains and rugged high-country sheep stations. (Cruise Meals)

December 8 Wellington, New Zealand – New Zealand’s friendly capital city features gaily painted old wooden houses and a red cable car that takes you up to the Wellington Botanic Gardens and a fine view of the harbor. A must-see is the engaging Te Papa Museum. (Cruise Meals)

December 9 – Napier, New Zealand – Napier calls itself the Art Deco capital of the world. Leveled by an earthquake in 1931, Napier was rebuilt in Art Deco style. Along with Miami Beach, Napier is one of the best examples of this style, with many of its structures well preserved. Take a walk down Marine Parade, a tree-lined ocean boulevard with fountains and gardens, or go out to the country to enjoy the lovely vistas. (Cruise Meals)

December 10 – Enjoy a relaxing day at sea. (Cruise Meals)

December 11 – Tauranga, New Zealand – Site of fierce Maori wars, Tauranga today is a peaceful city in the heart of kiwifruit-growing country. Farther afield: Rotorua, with its spouting geysers and bubbling mud pools, the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves and nocturnal kiwi houses. (Cruise Meals)

December 12Bay of Islands, New Zealand – Those who love beaches consider these some of the world’s finest, with their perfect white sand and crystal-clear water. And as tempted as you’ll be to pull up a lounge chair and soak in the surroundings, many consider this the ideal place to partake in more active pursuits, such as kayaking, mountain-biking, parasailing, swimming with dolphins and scuba-diving. (Cruise Meals)

December 13 Auckland, New Zealand to Fiji – Your cruise ends early this morning in Auckland.  An early afternoon flight will take you to the paradise of Fiji!  A short 20-minute drive away is the luxurious resort district where you will be able to spend the evening relaxing in the spa, sitting on the beach, or taking a dip in the pool.  You will fall in love with the hospitality of Fiji.

December 14 – Fiji – The day is yours to relax on the beach or by the pool in the paradise of Fiji!  Enjoy Fiji and overnight again at the resort.

December 15 – Fiji – Board a flight later today to come back home.  You will arrive back in Los Angeles on the same day around midday. Welcome home!

Celebrity Solstice Ship: Celebrity Solstice is one of our more decorated ships at sea. So it’s no wonder that it’s full of “firsts.” Like the first Lawn Club at sea. The first Hot Glass Show. The first cruise line to have 5 women, also known as “the Leading Ladies” redesign, and redecorate the staterooms. Some other things that set Celebrity Solstice apart are its specialty restaurants. Chef Jacques Van Staden’s passion for food has taken the restaurants, the food and the overall dining experience to a whole new level in the cruising world.

But staterooms and specialty restaurants are only part of this ship’s charm. Celebrity Solstice also has the AquaSpa by Elemis and fitness center, where you can pamper yourself with spa treatments or push yourself in a workout with one of our trainers.

If only life on land was as good as life on Celebrity Solstice.
