The canals of THONBURI located on the east side of the river will reveal scenes that are at odds with the bustling modern Bangkok of today. You will feel like you have sailed back in time.
We make a stop at the old house Baan Silapin which is over 100 years old and is located in Bang Luang canal. This “artist’s house” is a typical Thai wooden house that would have been found everywhere decades ago but today is more and more rare. Experience beautiful Thai art and even a resident puppet show!
Following your boat tour, it is back to your hotel which is located right on the banks of the river.

Wat Nivat was constructed at the command of King Rama V in 1878, in the style of an English Gothic church. The temple’s stained glass windows and unusual architecture make it one of the most distinctive Buddhist temples anywhere in Thailand.
Continue by road to the ancient city of Ayutthaya, the former Thai capital for 417 years and one of Thailand’s major tourist attractions. Many ancient ruins and art works can be seen in the city, which was founded in 1350 by King U-Thong. Overnight in Ayutthaya. (Breakfast)
