Itinerary:

November 7 - Fly from USA to Istanbul, Turkey

November 8 – Arrive in Istanbul, Turkey.  Panoramic tour of Hagia Sophia, Roman Hippodrome, Blue Mosque (from outside). Transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight. (D)

November 9 – Breakfast at hotel before transfer to airport for flight to Tel Aviv.  Arrive in Israel and overnight in the Mediterranean coast town of Tel Aviv. (B,L,D)

November 10 – Sites today include the ruins of Caesarea where the Apostle Paul was tried, relive the battle of Elijah and the Priests of Baal at Mt. Carmel, view the valley of Armageddon at the ruins of Megiddo, Cana with its miracle of water to wine, and Nazareth with the glorious announcement of the Saviors birth.  Overnight in Tiberius on the banks of the Sea of Galilee. November 11 – Today you will start your day at Mt. Tabor the site of Christs transfiguration. The highlight of the day will be a beautiful boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, and visit to Capernaum.  Finish the day off at the Jordan River where Christ was baptized by John the Baptist. (B,L,D)

November 12 – Visit the largest Roman ruin in Israel Bet she’an. Next see your first view of Jerusalem from the Mt of Olives. Afternoon visit to Bethlehem with its Christmas story, the Church of the Nativity, and Shepherd’s Cave. (B,L,D)

November 13 – The city of Jerusalem is a holy center for the major religions of the world and is filled with immense history.  Today you will see the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Dome of the Rock, the Pools of Bethesda, Antonia’s Fortress, the room of the Last Supper, David’s Tomb, and so much more.(B,L,D)

November 14 – Today is a historical day as you visit the Israel Museum, the Shrine of the Book, the Holy Land Model, and Yad Vashem which is a touching Holocaust memorial site. Finish your day at the holy sites of Gethsemane and the Garden Tomb.  (B,L,D)

November 15 – The group leaves Jerusalem  and travels south to visit Qumran, site of the Dead Sea Scrolls, Masada and its sad story of rebellion, and floating in the Dead Sea. Next, travel to Eliat and go snorkeling in the Red Sea.  Overnight in Eliat. (B,L,D)   ISRAEL ONLY GROUP flies home this night, overnights in Turkey, and arrives back in the USA on November 16.

November 16- Cross border into Egypt and travel to ancient Cairo which lies on the banks of the Nile River.  (B,L,D)

November 17 – Fly to Aswan and visit the great rock temple of Abu Simbel.  Board your 5-star Nile River Cruise ship. (B,L,D)

November 18 – Cruise the Nile River with a stop at the glorious ruins of Kom Ombo. (B,L,D)

November 19 – Cruise the Nile River with a visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu.  Arrive at Luxor and visit the Karnak and Luxor Temples. (B,L,D)

November 20 – Visit the West bank of the Nile, Valley of the Queens (Temple of Hatshepsut), and the Valley of the Kings with its many tombs (including the tomb of King Tut) . Afternoon flight to Cairo. (B,L,D)

November 21 – Here we will visit the Cairo Museum with its overwhelming collection of Egyptian antiquities; the most spectacular is the treasures of King Tut.  Next a visit to the only remaining Wonder of the World, the Pyramids of Giza, and their great guardian the great Sphinx.  If time permits you can hop on a camel and explore the Giza plateau.  We will have time for shopping in the Shari el Muski Bazaar.  You will feel like you are back in old Egypt as you haggle for the correct price. November 22 – Free day to relax and do any last minute shopping.  Flight leaves right after midnight. (B,D)

November 23 – Continue flight and arrive at home!
