Are you ready to cruise in 2017?  You will be taken you to places that people dream of seeing.  You will cruise in luxury to Italy, Israel, Greece, and Malta for an incredible price! A 2-day land tour of Rome will also start your experience so that you can discover the “Eternal City.” Celebrity Cruises will transport you from port to port in comfort and elegance.


**Included in the package pricing are the touring days in Rome and Athens below. During the cruise, the port shore excursions are not included. Optional pricing for those will come down the road and below are descriptions of what excursion could possibly take place.

October 16 – Fly today from the USA to Rome, Italy!

October 17 – Arrive in Rome and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore on your own.

October 18 – Rome, Italy – Start your day with a city tour that includes the Vatican and the famous Sistine Chapel and Spanish Steps. You will fall in love with Rome today. Overnight in Rome. (Breakfast)

October 19 – Rome, Italy – Continue touring Rome and step back in time as you explore the Colosseum. Following your tour, it is off to your ship the Celebrity Constellation where a fantastic welcome meal awaits. (Breakfast, Cruise Meals)

October 20 – Enjoy a relaxing day at sea. (Cruise Meals)

October 21 – Valletta, Malta – In 1530 Malta was given to the Knights Hospitallers, who built a Christian stronghold and the capital, Valletta, behind whose fortifications you’ll find Renaissance splendors that seem to be untouched by time. (Cruise Meals)

October 22 – Valletta, Malta – The ship spends another day in Malta giving you more time to discover this fun port and island. (Cruise Meals)

October 23 – Enjoy a relaxing day at sea. (Cruise Meals)

October 24 – Enjoy a relaxing day at sea. (Cruise Meals)

October 25 – Jerusalem, Israel – Leave the ship this morning and drive to Jerusalem. From the Mount of Olives you will have your first view of the City of Gold, Jerusalem. You will descend down the Mount as Jesus did to Gethsemane where Christ suffered for us all. Visit the Western (Wailing) Wall, most holy site for all of Judaism. Here Jews pray daily for the return of the temple and the Great Messiah. The Upper Room is nearby where the Savior met with his Apostles for Passover and there teach the new law, the sacrament. Visit Golgotha which is the traditional site of the terrible crucifixion. Nearby we will visit the peaceful Garden Tomb and remember the glorious message “He is not here, He has risen”. There will be time for shopping prior to leaving for the ship. (Cruise Meals)

October 26 – Jerusalem, Israel – Another full day is planned in Jerusalem today! (Cruise Meals)

October 27 – Galilee, Israel – Arrive in the port of Haifa. You will view the beautiful gardens of the famous Bahai faith. Travel next to the Sea of Galilee. Here visit the Mount of Beatitudes where Christ taught the multitude. Next the ruins of Capernaum where Christ lived, performed many of his miracles, and recruited his first followers among the fisherman. Sail upon the Sea of Galilee and remember Christ Calming the storm, and also walking on water. You will view the beautiful Golan Heights and visit the Jordan River. (Cruise Meals)

October 28 – Enjoy a relaxing day at sea. (Cruise Meals)

October 29 – Crete, Greece – Start with a tour in the Akrotiri (Peninsula) of Chania, where you will visit the graves of Benizelon from where you will admire the panoramic views of the city. On the way back you will visit the town of Chania, where we will get a guided tour which was the former capital of Crete and it is the most attractive town of the island. Take a relaxing walk through the charming narrow streets in the old part of the city with the “oriental” market. Here you can find a big variety of leather goods and Cretan folk art items. October 30 – Mykonos, Greece – In the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean lies one of the most inviting places in all of Greece – Mykonos. Its countless bays and beaches and its quaint cobblestone streets are bound to welcome any visitor. According to Greek mythology, it was here that Hercules slew the Giants; the large rocks that are scattered about the island are said to be their petrified corpses. True or not, you’ll have to judge for yourself. Either way, the Island of Mykonos should not be missed. (Cruise Meals)

greece3October 31 – Athens, Greece – Your cruise ends this morning in Athens. Here you will visit the Acropolis, walk through the Propylaia with its temple to Nike, and then to behold the Parthenon which in ancient times housed the statue of Athena. You will have time to explore this magnificent structure and be overwhelmed by its history. Nearby is the Erechtheion where the gods and heroes worshipped. This building is famous for the Athenian maidens, the Karyatids, stand in their glory. Nearby you will stand on Mars Hill, where the Apostle Paul stood and taught the Greeks about the Unknown God. Overnight in Athens.  (Cruise Breakfast)

November 1 – Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

Celeste French has been a travel consultant for over 35 years.  She has traveled extensively through out the United States and the world; escorting groups to China, Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Alaska.  You will find Celeste to be very accommodating, energetic and enthusiastic.  Traveling with Celeste you will be able to draw upon a vast wealth of travel experience, knowledge, and tips.  Besides travel, her hobbies also include reading and cooking.  She is the mother of three boys and is married to Kelly French.  They reside in Idaho Falls.
