September 12 – Fly from Los Angeles on a flight to Tel Aviv, Israel this afternoon!
September 13– Arrive in Israel and transfer to your hotel where you will overnight.
September 14 – Sites today include the ruins of Caesarea where the Apostle Paul was tried, reliving the Battle of Elijah and the Priests of Baal at Mt. Carmel, viewing the valley of Armageddon at the ruins of Megiddo, and Nazareth with the glorious announcement of the Savior’s birth. If time permits visit Cana with its miracle of water to wine. Stay overnight in Tiberias, on the banks of the Sea of Galilee. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
September 15 – Today you will start your day at Mt. Tabor, the site of Christ’s transfiguration. The highlight of the day will be a beautiful boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, and visit to Capernaum. If time permits visit Mt. of beatitudes, Finish the day off at the Jordan River where Christ was baptized by John the Baptist. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
September 16 – Visit the largest Roman ruin in Israel Bet she’an. Next see your first view of Jerusalem from Mt. Scopus. In the afternoon visit to Bethlehem with its Christmas story, the Church of the Nativity, and Shepherd’s Cave. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
September 17 – Today you will visit Mt. of Olives, Dominus Flevite, holy sites of Gethsemane, Jimmy’s Wood carving Bazaar, and the Garden Tomb. In the afternoon we’ll visit Mt. Zion – Upper Room, and King David’s Tomb. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
September 18 – The city of Jerusalem is a holy center for the major religions of the world and is filled with immense history. Today you will see the Temple Mount – the Dome of the Rock, the Pools of Bethesda, Via Dolorosa, Church of Holy Sepulcher, and the Western Wall. In the afternoon you’ll visit Yad Vashem which is a touching Holocaust memorial site, and the Israel Museum – the Holy Land Model and the Shrine of the Book. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
September 19 – Travels south today and visit Qumran, site of the Dead Sea Scrolls and Masada with its sad story of rebellion. The view is stunning as you take a cable car ride to the top of Masada. Finish out the day at the Dead Sea where taking a “float” is a must! (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
September 20– Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Los Angeles. Welcome home!
